I'm considering pulling the trigger on a soft cover. However I hate when I see the lines of the bows across the cover.
I really want a sleek and smooth look. I really love the practical use of the soft cover, but hate to see those horizontal lines in them.

    Any suggestions or pictures?

I have an Access Tonnosport (The cheapest low profile cover Access makes), and do not see the bows when the cover is on.

I have the access vanish cover. I cannot see the lines at all in it, and it seals up pretty good. I'll take a picture if I can remember later for you.

But, the access vanish is awesome.

Actually, found someone who has one already. Pictures on there are what it looks like on the 6' bed, and I have the 5' and it looks the same.

I use a "leather" cover from Truxedo. Here it is.

I bought it to keep stuff in my bed private from view and I think it looks great on the truck. It snaps securely at the back (if you had a locking gate, I would feel pretty secure unless the leather was cut). It has bars that go across and help it keep its shape, yet you can roll it up and get all of the bed space back (unlike hard covers or even tri fold).

The cons: it sounds a little bit like a plastic bag rattling when at highway speeds with the back window open and the clamps that hold it down stick in towards the bed about 4 or 5 inches. I covered mine with that stuff you wrap around pipes to preven frost so it would not scratch anythig I had in the back.

the access covers are flat, and you can't really see the 3 cross bars.

The advantages of soft cover (as you have probably researched already) outweighs any disadvantages, if any. Having said that, I use access cover and it looks the same as the day I installed it, 4 years ago. It has tension adjusters to stretch the cover, but I have never adjusted it since I installed it.

    edit.
heres a pic (partial) of my cover. pic from stickers thread. its all nice and flat as you can see

Another happy Access cover user. No visible lines where the bows are.

Access Vanish doesn't have that issue. It's low profile and great quality. You'll loose the use of the bed cleats though because of how the rails are set up.

Just minor modifying. But yes. Ill take a picture of the small ones later for you. I have the regular cleats in the front by the cab.

Thinking about buying a roll-up or a tri-flip cover for a longbed 14 Taco 4dr. Any Suggestions? Want to keep it under $300.

How did you have to modify these cleats?

Shit. Sorry, haven't gotten a chance to take a picture. I just took my dremel/razor knife to the tops and cut them down to fit under the cover.

I'm about to pull the trigger on an AccessRollup. I did way too much research and that puppy seems to be what I need.
