I noticed that the chrome is begining to flake off and was wondering if anyone knows how to take this off without damaging it. Do I just pry it right off?
This might not annoy the average person buy I am just wanting to get everything that I cak taken care of before I leave for school in the Fall. Thanks ya'll.

Pins on the back penetrate holes in the airbag cover, heat-sealed to the inside.
Some have successfully popped them off and derp'd them, sticking them back on with RTV. Just have to feel under the edge for the pins and apply gentle pressure to that spot only so you don't flex the badge.

Forgive the question but is there a way to take the cover off? Or do I just feel around until I can take it off.

It's not hard to pop off. I used my knife while I waited in my truck one day and I was bored. Plastidip'd it and put it back on.
