    Nice looking set-up for the front. I just traded a 2011 Double cab for a 2013 and was thinking of adding one of these. The '13 has Rhino-liner coated step bars and I like the look. Has anyone coated an Avid bar with the plastic liner material and would a person need to worry about clearance issues with the extra thickness added by the coating? Any advice would be appreciated.

    I had mine powder coated black gloss. I'm very happy with the way it turned out! The installation was easy! Just attaches to 4 bolts. Might would have been easier if I had a second person to hold it while I rung the holes with the bolts but I managed ok by myself!

    best way to install is just take off the front grill insert and you can reach both bolt no problem with a regular socket.

    I know this thread is old but I just bought a used Avid LB. After I knock some of the surface rust off and repaint it'll be ready to put on. The install pics and advice here will come in handy.

    I was thinking of getting mine Line X as well. If ya don't mind me asking how much did it cost ya? Just trying to get a ballpark cost, the nearest Line X dealer is about an hours drive from me
