Led interior lighting???

    Anyone have led dome lights? Where did you get them and was it an easy install?

    Thinking of running amsoil 5w 30 and amsoil severe gear in my tranny and differentials (2000 sr5 with 3.4 and 5 speed tranny) good idea?

    Amsoil is ok. But your manual tells you the weight.

    No manual, old truck that I am just about to purchase.... :( what is a better oil?

    You need to find out. You dont want to put the wrong weight in there!
    I purchased my reverse light leds 700 luman from Cjumpers on here. I am very happy.
    As far as the oil maker to use, apples vs oranges. Sorry.

    75W90 is the correct weight for the diffs and the t-case and the manual trans.

    A word of caution, the trans oil must be the GL-4 type. No GL-5. It will cause problems with the brass synchros in the trans. Make sure you do not use gear oil that has friction modifiers either. In the diff this does not matter but in the trans it does.

    I also run an LED panel dome light. Bought it on eBay. Install was quick and easy.
