    Hey TW,

Who is already trying to get in on the pre-order list?
We are excited to see some of first builds on here when they get released!

All these mock-ups and renderings everyone is coming up with are awesome!

We will be getting our Grille Kit ready for these as soon as possible to spice up the front end up with some serious lighting.

Have any requests for options you would like to see us offer for these?
Fog Replacements? Roof Mounting Kits? etc

If you have a mock-up or rendering be sure to include some Rigids and share it with us! :D

Does anyone think they will actually offer these with an optional diesel power plant?

We have had our fingers crossed for this for the past year!

Depends on how well the GM twins and Nissan do with their diesels. If they do well then I'm sure it will force Toyota to add a diesel version.

Toyota specifically stated in a press release last year that there will never be a diesel version. That their focus is on hybrid and PHEV technology. And that they don't even have a diesel powerplant available that could be made to work with the existing US product lineup and emissions regulations.

In fact Toyota is so not interested in diesel that they have ceased all development of new diesels for their Euro markets. Toyota cars are now supplied with BMW diesel engines.

You can cross your fingers until they fall off but there will never be a diesel Tacoma.

After seeing the renderings, I'm actually considering picking one up when they are available. Already have your grill on my 2012. If you guys need a truck for fitment, and I end up picking one up I'll gladly offer it up since I am local

When modded up a bit they really do look WAY better!

Is anyone on here planning on attending the Detroit Auto Show where they will unveil these fully? If so we are so jealous!! Take lots of photos!

One thing is for certain a light bar in the 30" + range in that God awful slot between the fogs would not only look and work great but improve front ends looks a ton imo. So therefore a good fitting light bar with good strong bracketing will be key!!

Well dang! We didn't catch that press release last year. Regardless, since their competitors are moving towards including a diesel option we think and hope it will only be a matter of time until Toyota includes one. Never say Never :D

Thank you so much for all of your continued support and we love your build, so clean! We thought the same thing after seeing a few of the renderings floating around. Definitely have potential to look awesome.

Great idea and strong brackets for sure to keep everything secure.

Opinions differ but the lower led lightbar on tacos "looks" and also works better imo. The grill light is "ok" just not my thing. If we are lucky existing lights may fit in that slot, someone going to DT needs to measure lol. Then we will all know. :)

Really liking the grille mods on both of these renderings. Personally, I prefer the crosshatch patterns as shown, and would like to see some type of matching overlay for the thin, horizontal grille just below the main grille. This truck, with just a few mods is going to look as aggressive as a Tacoma could ever be!

The biggest and quickest alteration I could foresee is replacing those gaudy and cheap-looking tail light lenses.

So I just had a (make it look better idea)

The lower plastic grill crap between the fogs.

Rigid here is where you can shine, pardon pun lol.

So IMO if you (Rigid) once you can get your mitts on a 2016 make a black matt mesh or solid metal portion to replace that piece with and have it pre slotted & bracketed perhaps to accept by owners choice 20", 30" etc lightbar that would be awesome and IMO improve the front end looks. This way no hacking in the plastic crap no measuring just snap out stock one and insert Rigid piece that is plug and play!!, OEM look and of course this tailors to your product specifically. Point is to have the finish and the design stellar then hey that's right to print money right there??. I'll take a freebee as royalty lol. :D

BTW in this design I think it would look best to include the surround around fogs again, ONE solid piece that bolts or snaps into place... replace stock with a complete plug and play piece that tailors to your light bar fitment etc...

How about a rigid dually fog kit? Also how about a wireless wiring harness so that we don't need to run wires through the firewall. Even a crazier idea would having a wiring harness that can accommodate more lights in the future so people don't have to add more wiring to complicate things.

Hell of an expansion idea imo. :)

Fogs "Leds" could be an addition to idea I mentioned above." Stock or Rigid" fogs configurations I suppose. Only thing is square fogs "may" look tad funky given new body style is now so blocky versus older more rounded and sculpted look.

How about a new hood and front clip? ;)

More seriously, I think you are going to sell a lot of black grill inserts. If I get this truck, it's the first thing I would buy.

Second. I'd love to see something like thin chrome rectangles over a black field, like the grill on a 1971 Chevy C10. Backlight it when the fogs are on.

I'd love to see what everyone else suggests for that hexagonal monstrosity.

We will certainly be getting one as soon as they are available.
When we do the front bumper I am pretty sure we can sneak a SR Series 30" into the bumper design just below the grille as long as it clears the winch etc. For the rear we will likely stick with the SRM or SRQ flush-mounts like we currently use for the second gens.
We have been very successful with integrating Rigid products into just about every design possible and dont intend to change that any time soon.

I'd like a mount for a bar to squeeze in that slot between the fogs as well.
