Anyone seen or heard any evidence one way or another if Homelink will be available?

I did my part notifying Toyota a year or so ago by telling them that not everyone that buys a Tacoma is a young in debt person just out of college that can't afford a place with a garage. Hell, I even know people that live in gated neighborhoods where Homelink would be appreciated. :)

Anything that would prevent you from installing a home link mirror?

Really liking the interior look and new features of the limited. Looks like the exact same mirror I self installed in my 2014.

I love Homelink. I installed it myself on my '09. Took all of about an hour and $25 for the Homelink part off eBay.

I'm not familiar with Homelink other than as OEM installed stuff. Is it as easy as buying an aftermarket Homelink equipped mirror & attaching in the place of the non-Homelink mirror (on any vehicle)?

$25? got a link or part I can search? The homelink I got for my WRX was 90 from a junkyard.

I asked the seasoned Toyota salesperson why there was no homelink, and he said that Toyota opted to spend money towards the navi/back up cam head unit because having a homelink leaves car burgs/thieves the opportunity to gain access to your house if you happen to park in your driveway.

We saw the homelink buttons on the rearview mirror on the Limited pics. Looks like it's there.
