As far as I know there aren't many places really close by but Ocala has a fun offroad park called Hardrock that is pretty fun. They hold an annual meet every year but it gets pretty crazy. I went with a small group of 4 rigs and it was perfect. They have plenty of tent camping areas so it would be easy to make a weekend out of it.

I've been looking too... Osceola National Park looks promising. Just a little west of Jacksonville. I found quite a few videos of off roading... looked really wet... lots of puddles. I'm outfitting my 2007 4runner and hoping to check it out.

Lots of water...at least the two times I have been there.

There were a few waterholes that got too deep for me without a snorkel and I backed out. Water was over my front bumper. Not interested in hydrolocking.
