    Random thoughts


    I think the rims will clean up nice, wonder if the battery in the tps in the rims on the truck now has gone dead causing the light to come on ?

    Buying the new to me rims does a few things for me, gets me back into a 16” tire, 17” with heavy pitting on it now, saves me from having to paint the $hitty ones on the truck, and the red taco 1st gen also has 16” so they can share socks

    What look am I trying to achieve with budget family taco was also crossing my mind. Keep it the height it is now, light bar with four round hella 500’s back rack with a few led’s some cargo / reverse lights. It’s going to have a white tail gate (beggars can’t be choosers) so to off set this white tailgate black TOYOTA letters like the old school trucks.

    I think I am getting old as I remember my father putting mud flaps on everything he owned and I remember thinking it looked stupid. Now I am 35 wanting to put the back on this truck to save the paint. Also the stock flaps play a big part as they have the 4x4 on the back. This to me also screams Toyota

    It looks like I am going white and black
    Hella light covers white
    Truck black
    Tailgate white
    Tailgate letters black

    Might look ok different for sure and if it’s not what I want it will be easy to change

    ( I might have to paint the tailgate black) and go with white TOYOTA

    It has to go black, but you would get used to it being white, and save that paint money for another cool mod:wink:
