What part of it is sarcasm? I've had quite a few Toyota trucks over the years, and everything he listed that he didn't like has been that way since the 80's. They've always lacked power, ride rough, cheaply made interior, rattles and squeaks, terrible fuel mileage, and outdated design. But they are great for off-roading. If a person wants a highway queen, shouldn't have bought a Tacoma

You bought a Pick Up Truck. Everything you've posted as weak points are part of the purchase. It's expected or rather should be expected. If you want comfortable seats and less noise you can pay for it. In the end you bought what Toyota has made that has held the market for years.

I'm just going to add that most of the third world is just happy to have mirrors and seats, and don't even need heaters.

No it has not. My 85 and 87 sr5 4Runner had some of the best seats around. No squeaks in the interior at all. Maybe a little in the back from the plastic panels, but up front it was dead quiet. My 87 pickup had an all metal bed, and stock leaf springs with 227,000
Miles on it. Didn't need replacing. Weird.

Okay I'll take a stab at this. My 2015 with 5500 miles on it just had the passenger side Strut Assembly replaced today. This after already replacing the driver's side interior door panel and the HVAC blower motor (which is already making noise again). In six months, this vehicle has had more non-routine visits to the dealership than my last 15 vehicles combined. I won't complain about the seats, the ride, the noise, I did test drive my vehicle and those things were obvious. The issues I have addressed initially are simply an example of poor design, assembly and/or quality (sorry fan boys). Flame away...
