So what were your measurements before and after with your setup?

Measurements are from ground to fender, found it difficult to get numbers from center hub.
Taken parked in same spot in my parking lot.

    Driver Front
    Before: 35 - 1/16
    After: 36 - 14/16

    Passenger Front
    Before: 35
    After: 36 - 13/16

    Driver Rear
    Before: 36 - 4/16
    After: 38 - 1/16

    Passenger Rear
    Before: 36 - 2/16
    After: 37 - 15/16

It's settled a few tenths of an inch since the measurements were taken.

I didn't see anywhere but are you running wheel spacers? Looks like they are out a bit from what the beadlocks usually look like.

Really nice lookin rig. I'm still  haha

I've got to get me a set of your wheels!!

Thanks. No, no wheel spacers. They do stick out a bit further than stock wheels, especially after I put the Bigger Duratracs on.

Any update on how things are going with this setup? Any issues with the rear Baja shocks and the Icon AAL? I am assuming you took out the stock overload spring?

How are the bags doing with the Daystar Cradles? Could you expand on what Firestone said to you about your issues?

    Awesome truck!

Really like the look of the wheels without the bead lock. Super clean truck.

    Littleblue81.....someone in my post
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/296860-tow-not.html
Suggested I take a look at your build.
Are you still satisfied with the AAL and air bags?
Particularly the load capacity and load handling since putting in the AAL without the overload leaf?
At the moment I'm really looking for load capacity with good street handling. Not going for the off-road performance right now. Do you think I can skip on the shock upgrade for my purpose and only do the bags and AAL?
Did you consider the hellwig leafs before landing on the Icon?

Yes, to this point I am satisfied with the airbags - having said that it's only been a few months.

I have not loaded just the bed with a lot of weight. All the weight I've towed around has been from my boat. For your purposes the bags themselves would be more than adequate. You don't need any AAL either, just the bags will be fine.

I didn't look into Hellwig's specifically. I just wanted as smooth a ride as possible in the back and Icon seemed to describe their product as a ride/performance oriented leaf.

Was the AAL then more for lift? I might prefer little to no lift as I'm regularly loading motorcycles on my own.

Yes. You don't need anything except for the airbag kit for your application.
