'14 Taco Backup Camera Mod

First post. I searched but couldn't find anything on this, just a curiosity question really. Has anyone tried to modify the backup camera to allow you to access it anytime, not just when reversing?

But, that might not work for you. The backup camera display is in the head unit on the '14, isn't it?

they switched it to the head unit for the '14? SOB!

 

I prefer it in the mirror because I feel it keeps my eyes up where the action is. I hate to look down at the radio to see behind me.
