I went with Toytec coil overs up front and wheeler HD 3 leaf AALs out back w/ 5100s.. I plan on adding LR UCAs this weekend and will probably crank down the front a little to add some more rake and level out the lean a bit more. As for the pressure sensors, I did not have them swapped to the new rims yet.

Beautiful! Thanks for the update with the photos!

I'm glad you made it back safe and sound Ryan! Post some photos for us when you get the lift installed too! I'm diggin' the matte bronze on white. It really looks like you can't go wrong with that color combination.

Most of the customers I've talked to have transferred their TPMS over. We've also transferred TPMS for every customer that we've installed for locally.

Great looking wheels. I'd be very interested in a set if I could get them in a bright silver color. The Titanium Silver looks like it could work but I can't really tell by the picture provided in you first post. Do you have any photographs of the Titanium Silver finish?

    Thanks.

Sweet! The lift looks great! How's the ride?

I thought I had some photos on a regular cab, but I can't seem to find them on my hard drive or online albums. I bet the wheels look really good on a single cab. The single cabs look very lean, mean and aggressive, and that's the idea behind the BFD wheel as well.

Thank you! The titanium silver is a super bright silver. It's a "hyper silver" which means it's a 4-stage paint process that makes a very bright silver as opposed to just a regular painted silver color like an OEM silver wheel. Hyper wheels are painted black prior to being painted silver. The black paint actually makes the silver much brighter vs. painting the wheel silver over straight primer and aluminum.

Here are some "real world" photos of the titanium silver BFDs:

And here's another photographer's photo from a different angle:

Matte bronze BFDs have been the more popular color choice with Super White Tacoma owners, but graphite gunmetal on Super White is actually my personal favorite. I definitely think matte bronze looks good, but if I had a Super White I'd be all over the graphite. :D

Nice. Are there spacers on this setup? What brand and size tires are those?

    - Tell you what, I'm thinking the Titanium Silver may be just what I've been looking for. The first picture really shows them off. The second pictures looks like the wheels barrel is painted to match the wheel face. It could be the lighting but the first picture makes me wonder. Could you please verify the finish in the wheel barrel?

    - I currently have a set of BBS wheels on my truck. The BBS painted finish looked like a high quality painted finish when they were new. Most of my daily driving is highway. The BBS seem to have taken a beating. Any thoughs on how well the finish on your wheels will hold up on a well maintained daily driver that sees mostly highway driving?

    - Will the OE low tire pressure monitoring sensors work with these wheels?
    - Do the wheels include painted center caps that match the wheel face?
    - Do the wheels include lug nuts and are they painted, chrome, something else?

    Thanks!

No wheel spacers installed. TacoDaddy has 275/65R18 Goodyear Duratrac tires and Bilstein 5100 lift. :) Just let me know if you have any other questions!

    No problem!

The outside of the barrel (the part of the wheel that is covered by the tire) is black. The inside of the barrel is darker than the face, and it starts off silver and gradually becomes darker towards the back of the wheel. The face of the wheel is complete bright silver.

Hyper colors such as this are achieved by painting the wheels black first and then silver (or sometimes a lighter grey) on top of the black. This process really makes the color "pop," because it's set against a black background. It's also worth noting that this is usually considered a "premium" / extra cost finish by most manufacturers, since there are extra stages involved in the paint process. We don't charge extra for it though. :)

-BBS wheels are usually really, really excellent quality. I'm surprised your finish is not holding up. Are you talking about rock chips, road rash, clear coat pealing, paint fading, or something else? If the clear coat is pealing or the color is fading I might lean towards improper cleaning and maintenance. If the wheels aren't holding up due to road rash or chips I'd say that's pretty normal depending on the type of debris encountered. I don't sell BBS wheels, so I can't speak for them, but my past experiences with BBS wheels have been very good.

As for the FN Wheels BFD - the finish is top quality. All of the wheels are thoroughly cleaned after machining, primed, painted and clear coated (even the matte wheels have a matte or "satin" clear coat) in a clean room environment. I've had a set on my truck for a year and a half now, and they still look like new. I do wash and wax my wheels semi-regularly.

-OEM tire pressures are directly compatible with the FN Wheels BFD wheels. If you have a Toyota that came equipped with STEEL wheels from the factory you will need to use an adapter, an aftermarket sensor, or a factory sensor from a Toyota that came with ALLOY wheels. If you have any other manufacturer's TPMS sensors, or you have Toyota alloy wheels with original sensors you'll no problems what so ever. Assuming that you have the sensors installed in the BBS wheels right now, those sensors will transfer right over with no problem.

-Center caps are included with the BFDs. They are not color matched, but we have either black or chrome available. We've also had some success sanding and painting the caps to match.

-Lug nuts are not included with the wheels, but I do have a variety of lug nuts in a variety of finishes that I can offer you. Or, if you have a particular lug nut in mind I can let you know if it will work. You just need a conical seat, 60 degree taper lug nut (standard aftermarket lug nut).

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all. :)

:) Thank you again! You should see your wheels very soon! I can't wait to see some photos of the new wheels installed on your truck. Did you get your DuraTracs?

Awesome, thanks! Most of my customers have been reporting delivery times of only 14 days to Hawaii via parcel post, so I think you'll be ok. :)
