I need some advice and would like to move fast. I found a Southern California clean title rust free 1998 sr5 V6 access cab 4x4 for around 6,000. I’m reading the prices on these things are sometimes super high and sometimes super low. It has 200,000 miles. Just looking for some finical guidance. I have seen the truck in person and it’s reeeeealllly clean.

Is it the black one with a stepside bed? It looks pretty darn clean

and KBB is usually way lower than what these things go for in reality. I'd say $6k is a good deal.

Pics would help... but if the truck is rust-free and well maintained I think the price is reasonable.

Wonder if the aftermarket is different because of the stepside bed, my coworker has a stepside tundra and said it was hard for him to get parts :notsure:

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
It's worth having a pre-purchase inspection by a non dealer professional, including a compression test.

At 200k there are a lot of rubber mounting and suspension parts that are in need of replacement as well.

And I'd want documented services, especially the big stuff, like the trans, cooling system, AC, diff, transfer case, etc etc.
