Yeah those ones were good it was the ones holding it into the bedsides where the stock tailgate mounted. Actually now that I think about it, those were my old bolts we reused.

Ahh yeah, I ended up using the same one for the very bottom bolt as well.

Just the bushing when it opens, just spray some dry lube on then and it quiets down. Someday I'll get them apart and put silicone grease on them

    Yes. Yes it does.

But for now it goes in the 01 so I can make room for all that.

That swap crossed my mind. And I may still do it. But trying to keep cost at a minimum for the time being. All this will be pulled back out when the time comes

don't you have some Kings to put on :luvya:

I think I've only opened my tailgate swingout 4 times in the last few months lol. Only really need to open it if I'm loading up for camping, anything else just fits in front of the bed rack or on top of it

You jealous at how shiny they are? :luvya:

    20200421_175951.jpg

Maybe I just won't install them like someone who won't install his LT kit

I've opened my swing out so many times; I use the bed a lot in my many errands and not a single squeak.

I use these Tein silencer rubber for lowering spring suspensions to insulate the dead springs. Makes it a quiet suspension for years to come.
