I haven't looked at it to be honest. I'm almost certain it would be its own connection with a breaker in-line to simply to be able to kill power to it without any physical disconnect. So yeah, I'd say directly to the battery.

I do plan to put in that Vitara alternator (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1st-gen-105-amp-bolt-in-alternator.630459/). The big 3, absolutely am doing that as well. I think I still have enough leftover cable from my power run to the bed.

Those two, the alternator and the big 3 - those 2 will happen pretty quick. Just need to sit down and put the orders in.

Well. For the first time ever I got into a screaming match with my service manger and got sent home. I made 0 dollars today after being fed warranty complaints and not getting paid. Meanwhile one motherfucker was given 2 brake jobs that I quoted 3 days ago!

    That's horse shit.

They try their best to round robin the customer pay jobs at my shop even though you still need the good techs doing some warranty work.

Some jobs though can't be done in a timely manner if you've got a guy that's +105% efficient.

That's why service departments generally have a small absorption rate, while sales takes care of the rest.

Bottom line, they need to toss you some customer pay.

Did I mention they took our 35 hour guarantee away starting this week? I’m at 20 hrs for the week thanks to that wonderful Camry. And the lack of customers coming In

    That's some bullshit right there.

If it makes you feel better, I worked the entire month of December by myself in the finance department.

I made the same amount of money as the month before, doing nearly double the work.

I need a new job as well.

My pay checks are going to determine if I stay. But with 19 technicians and no lube techs all I seem to get stuck with is garbage and oil changes
