Does the tank on my 2003 base Taco having hole in the bottom for the level sensor have any thing to do with the "cold weather package"? You see this term in all the ads.
I have found that, unless the ad shows an actual pic of the bottom (for some reason most don't) how can you possibly know?
Unfortunately I made this mistake. No pic, no mention of any sensor hole , and now i guess I'll try to sell this one on Ebay and find one that specifically says "no sensor hole".

Which tank do you have? The one with the long neck that's mounted in the fender well, or the one inside the engine compartment?

From what I've read, the one with the long neck is the cold package, but I find it weird that my CA truck (that had the long neck one) is a cold weather truck, lol.

I don't think having a level sensor has anything to do with the cold weather package, though.
