2005 Tacoma ??Cabin Filter??

    Does my 2005 V6 Tacoma have a cabin filter and if so, can you tell me how to access it for replacement?

    I thought I read on here once that the '05's do not have the cabin air filter. Only 06-10.

    A member posted that the spot for the filter was there, but no filter was present. He was told that was normal for the '05's. I can't find the thread though.

    05's don't have the filter or the tray the filter mounts in. That's precisely why so many came up with the idea of taking a home filter and cutting it into 4 pieces and using that instead. But I got tired of spending the money, taking the time to cut the pieces out, and taping cardboard onto the edges of each one. So if you don't want to buy the tray and filter...and don't want to go the route of cutting up the home filters over and over, make yourself a washable one that will last the life of the truck:

    hahahaha that is awesome. now i am not sure if there is one somewhere else but if what they are saying is true then that dude needs confronted:)
