Hey guys. After much debate, I have decided to sell my Tacoma. I just became a father, so I am moving over to the Land Cruiser platform for more interior space. The truck has been my baby for the last 4 years and I will be sad to see it go. As you will see from all of the very recent work, I had no intentions of selling this truck until a couple months ago. I was honestly planning on keeping it forever, but at the end of the day something more family friendly won out.

Very capable rig with some very thought out upgrades. The truck was originally owned by Eric of RelentlessFab fame. His original build thread thoroughly documenting the first 65k of the truck can be found here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/relentlesstacos-build-up.17769/

Since I got the truck, I have done some of my own modifications, mostly changing out the suspension, adding to the sound system, and tweaking things here and there. This is how it currently sits:

In my opinion, the truck is even nicer in person than it is in the pictures. It really is in excellent condition.

    Current Specs:

    Suspension
    - Front: Fox 2.5” remote reservoir extended travel coilovers with upgraded 650lb Icon springs, Total Chaos UCAs, Wheelers Superbumps, Moog LCA’s with Moog greasable cam bolts
    - Rear: Icon custom length 2.0 rear shocks with remote reservoir, All Pro expo leaf springs, All Pro U-bolt flip kit

    - Set of 5 285/75R17 Toyo AT2 XT Mounted on matching set of Moto Metal 951B Wheels - less than 2k miles on the tires. Alignment performed when tires were installed.
    - Fender flares clearanced 2 inches from the middle for more tire clearance while maintaining factory look
    - Cab mount chop

    Armor
    - Relentless Fabrication front bumper
    - Relentless Fabrication high clearance rear bumper
    - Relentless Fabrication rock sliders
    - Total Chaos LCA skid plates

    Other Exterior
    - Blacked out headlights - TL projector retrofit w/ BMW shrouds and DDM Tuning 55W 5000K D2S HIDs
    - Satoshi Grill, Plastidipped white, Land Cruiser TOYOTA emblem
    - Tinted to match front windows (25%)
    - Lockable tailgate latch
    - Toyota rubber bed mat

    Interior
    - Ultragauge mounted above rear view mirror
    - Weathertech digi-fit front mats
    - Toyota all weather rear mats
    - Modded gauge cluster w/ blue background and red needles
    - LED interior lighting

    Stereo
    - “Dynomated” cab (Second Skin)
    - Sony head unit with USB & AUX ports
    - Diamond Audio 4 channel amp (running speakers)
    - Boss Audio 2 channel amp (running sub)
    - Alpine SPS-609 front speakers with ********* adapters
    - Alpine SPS-600 rear speakers
    - Alpine R-type 10" sub in custom sub box built by Relentless

    Performance
    - JBA cat back exhaust (no tube past muffler)
    - Polished cold air intake w/ 6" AEM DryFlo synthetic air filter

    Other
    - Rear diff breather extended to behind fuel door
    - Probably other misc. stuff I’m overlooking

    Issues
    - Grill is plastidipped white. I was intended to be temporary until I got it properly painted, but it’s now time to sell so it goes as is. Isn’t a perfect color match, but not too far off either. Taking the grill in to have it professionally painted shouldn’t cost much.
    - Throw out bearing is mildly squeaking. This is a fairly common problem since the factory Toyota TOB was crap. It started making noise maybe 8k ago, so I’d feel confident in saying it has many more miles of life left. It’s mostly just annoying to anyone who is particular about their vehicle.
    - Front bumper dented in a little bit due to Hyundai pulling out in front of me. It was a mild hit for the truck, no airbags deployed or anything like that, but it did dent in the front bumper a little bit. You wouldn’t really even notice it unless you were looking for it. I planned on getting it hammered out, but never got around to it.
    - I developed a crack in the passenger rear fender that was jb welded back together. When the fender flare was originally clearanced, an OEM fender mount was removed. This left too much movement in the fender while driving, so it developed a crack right where it makes a 90 degree turn to tuck behind the passenger taillight. It wasn’t particularly noticeable, but it bothered me, so I JB welded the backside and plastidipped over the seem. I also added custom fabricated fender mounts (on both sides) to stiffen it all up and keep it from happening again. I have included a photo of the repair.

Oil changed at least every 3,000 miles
