Funny I'm using the same amp,and sub. I got the angled sub box though. Did you measure to make sure that one will fit in the storage bins.

I have an lc7i for my install. I agree with others to go with one for the low level.

Bought these for the same reason, trying to get better sound on a budget. If you don't have wires already it could start adding up quick. Ask me how I know...

He is one of the nicest people you will ever be lucky enough to talk to for sure.

I spoke to him yesterday and he cleared up some of the misconceptions I had about factory head units. I was thinking like a lot of people that running high level output from the head unit strait to an amplifier was a terrible idea and you had to use a high end LOC or signal processor. This is not the case at all, no more of the garbage out garbage in mindset for this guy.

I still like having the added control of the signal processor I have though so I won't be ripping it out of my truck any time soon.

I haven't heard of anyone using the audio control dq-61. It looks like a very high quality piece of equipment. So many settings to get right to make your truck sound just right. If you got it right I'm willing to bet it would help your system sound amazing.

Started building the harness today. I switched out the orange wire on this harness for one of the blue ones to keep it all uniform.

Cleaned it up with some heat shrink on the speedwire where the wires come out.

Awesome. Just finished up mine too. Wife keeps giving me other projects and it's making this taking longer than I want. She seems to think the house is more important.

The wires felt too long so i shortened them up. Some of the colors don't match. The black ground wire came out of its metal trapper. image.jpg Cheap peice of shit. Gave all the others a good tug to make sure none the others were like that.

    image.jpg

I'll be wrapping them all the wires in the jumper with electric tape before they go in. Just for fun.

Almost time to start my own thread, if these house projects would stop!

I feel you on the wife and house stuff....why can't that stuff around the house just do itself?!

One question, why do you have two wires on the small plug on the far left?

I wanted to add that I tested the continuity of all the connections to make sure all my solder points were good. Used a multimeter to do this and all was good to go. I wanted to make sure I didn't run into any problems when it is in the truck.

I highly recommend to do this.
