2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

For what it's worth, it went fine for a bunch of us. The only reported screw up was with someone using the virtual version on a Mac. But i hear you

 

Maybe I will update if 1.05 will be awhile before release. Going to suck to go back and figure out how to do it as I have not been following the process to apply the TSB

 

As long as you have TS installed and configured, you're g2g. Just double click on the TSB file and it activates an installation wizard built into TS to run the install, but TS itself doesn't open and run. Super simple, only a couple button clicks prior to the install and it goes relatively quickly too. It'll tell you step by step when to turn your truck on and off and all that

 

Cool, Maybe Ill give it a shot. Got to go find the TSB file now lol. Guess Ill email Matt for 1.04R

 

It’s simple. It took me all of like 10 minutes including installing TS and flashing

 

I just emailed matt for the file, now I am trying to find the TSB file to flash.

 

My version of TS is 12.10.019, does that matter?

And when I unpack the file, I only get T-0034-18 and T-0036-18 Files. I need 33-18???

those steps in the first link are pretty good tho. They walk you thru the process fairly well.

 

Got my A71 MT 1.04R Files. Flashed 91. Quick test drive seemed all good! Glad to be back on 91 and my truck no longer feels like it has asthma. Thanks Mat!
