    Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
    Being on 35's and 4.88's with 600 pounds of armor, I was still getting alot of bucking in 1st gear when departing from a stop and the shifts into 2nd were hard. With the new flywheel, clutch, 1.05 and the accumulator delete, it's amazing. I can launch hard in 1st with no slippage or bucking and the subsequent shifts are smooth. I really like being able to feel what the clutch is doing now.

    Tried the tac button push and hold before driving home tonight. Definitely a difference. What’s going on there?
    Brought the owners manual in the house with me but haven’t cracked it open yet.

    On the 1/2 shift I was trying to decide if the hard shift was axle wrap or something with the clutch. Sounds like it’s the clutch.
    That shit drives me crazy, and its not just 1/2.
    I pride myself of driving a manual smooth, but I can’t sometimes.

    I would assume most of that would be due to the junk ass carrier bearing setup that Toyota has had since the pickup days. I know mine is gone already and I’m just shy of 19,000 miles. Same setup without all the armor. 4.88s on 35s and mine is terrible when ebrake launching. I’m debating on pulling the carrier bearing drop as I feel like it’s hurting more than helping. Are you running a drop?

    Yeah, I've got no issues with mine. I'm on chevy 63's so I don't have the axle wrap issues as bad.

    No I haven’t had time.
    Have a service advisor contact at a Toyota dealer, I work with his brother.
    Just going to have one of his buddies in the shop program it and I’ll pay the tech myself. That will be easier!
