2020 Jeep Gladiator Longer Wheelbase Than Tacoma?

To my knowledge, just the 4 door to start. They were suppose to get a diesel, but that's not a given anymore.

 

Considering they have pretty much done away with the 2 door jeeps, it would probably be unlikely. More doors = higher price. Lol!

 

Shockingly, it only adds about 3K to go from JL->JLU.

Shit Id install a fucking boot rack in the bed just for the hell of it. Maybe put a boot cleaner right next to it too. Hell, install a new display just because I can. Add more cup holders...oh man the mod list is endless

 

I'm not a fan of the 'unlimited's but then again, I've never wheeled one... I can't say I've ever wheeled anything other than a 2 door Jeep, honestly.. Not sure how I'd like the 4 door.
Edit: Forgot to address the diesel bit... They've been teasing diesels and HEMIs in Jeeps for years. Biggest kick was when they teased it (diesel) for the Wrangler and then put it in the Cherokee.

They will probably lose a lot of people if/when they do away with 2doors.

 

solid axle swap, fj transfer case, crawl box, that just the start lol. Shit I even host a mod day with tool and parts girls in bikinis

 

For the money they will ask for a loaded Rubicon, I'd buy a full size PU... Hands down, better way to spend your $$

 

Damn I was in the little leagues with the mods. I like where your taking this. Hey if you need help with the uhhh tools and bikinis things, I can assist. Wouldn't mind sacrificing some of my time for a great cause.

 

I would rather save the 3K for modding and have a shorter wheelbase than the 4 door! 2 doors are super fun but I love having a truck for sure. I kayak a lot so having a bed and bed extender are important for me.

 

Apples to Oranges. This Jeep PU is not a work truck. It's a lifestyle truck. A lot of people don't want a full size pickup.

 

If they offer a manual with a diesel...my tacoma will be going bye bye

Yes Dana 35 up front and Dana 44HD in the back for the manuals and turbo diesel IIRC

 

I was going to 3link my Tacoma but last year when I hear they are finally going to come out with the Jeep pickup I figured I would hold off until I knew the details before I dropped 35k on the Tacoma

I am guessing it will be around 56k loaded with all the goodies and 33’s
