Offset pusher fan on the condenser. Note the lack of recovery hooks on this TRD Pro model, though there appear to be threaded holes on the crossmember:

Aluminum spindles. Wheel bearing bolts have been flipped with the head on the inside. Wonder if the nub on the outer tie rod is another steering stop?

4-link rear axle officially revealed. Note the fully boxed frame and little shin guard in front of the shock resi:

Note March spy shots show an electronic parking brake built into the rear calipers:

Gas tank on the right? Pan hard bar is reverse of Prado so its all new. Looks like a narrow frame.

Yeah interesting because the official photo of the white truck from the front three-quarters view had both the tailpipe and the fuel filler door on the left. It may be a charge port. Recall the earlier engine cover teaser showed orange cables in the background.

Frame looks as wide as current-gen, but curves inward just before the rear axle for the shock mounts.

Vertical LED light-tube tail lights. TFL says they light up sequentially:

I don't understand the trend of late to update the face of a vehicle and call it an update like making the grilles as large as possible and changing the headlights every other year. Am I the only one seeing this?

Also it seems to me newer vehicles, trucks most noticeably, are getting lower to the ground.. Stock trucks and SUVs are what, 12-16 inches from the ground? because they have that low skirt/plastic fender around it. Then Manufacturers are creating new echelons of models where we have to pay an additional $5-10k for reasonable ground clearance.. I have 2 first gen tacos and to the eye they sit much higher than these newer trucks... just a thought.

The Tundra always sat low. Press photo from 14 years ago:

Interesting.. is there a reason why they sit so low? Better yet, is there any reason why additional ground clearance wouldn't be preferable to less? Besides maybe aerodynamics..

Have you seen the MSRP on the F-150 Tremor? 70k+ I think that's what the Raptor used to list for.

Off-roading probably wasn't one of Toyota's priorities when designing the full-size truck, as evidenced by the absence of a rear locker. Lower cab floor means more legroom.

Wouldn't that be another niche model though? It's kind of like the srunner. Maybe my real thoughts are that the stock trucks ought to be a tad higher than they are now.

    Another valid point..

Ground clearance on the Tundra has always been higher than the Tacoma. I think first gen Tacomas were listed at like 10", Tundra 2nd and 3rd gen are 10 1/2".

My coworker drives a 02 Tacoma 4x4, parks behind me almost daily, its considerable lower than my Tundra, seat height, hood line, all of it.

The front bumpers and rear bumpers do hang lower on the Tundra giving it the illusion its lower I guess, but ground clearance is measured from the lowest part of the vehicle, I guess rear diff housings in our case. I owned a 3rd gen Taco for a while, again the frame is higher on the Tundra. Its difficult to lift with my jack even.

So is this 3.5L essentially the tacoma engine with added OEM boost? Any details if it is different bore/stroke?

Engine specs haven't been announced for the Tundra. If it's shared with the new foreign FJ300-series Land Cruiser, then it's the V35A 3.4L turbo shared with the Lexus LS500. It's different from the 2GR.

Earlier released photo shows it's a V6 judging by the rib count on the plastic engine cover. Orange cables indicate hybrid. The electric assist will probably negate any need for low-end torque optimization from the engine.

tundra classic should be a first gen Tundra.

I’d pay $60k for 1st gen tundra fresh out of the factory with a couple small updates.

First gen tundras and 9th gen f-150s are the best looking trucks ever sold in the US, in my opinion.

Tremor looks like another trim level for the F-150.
