Not sure that is true, I think the old Tacoma DC back seat has more leg room than the new Tundra DC. The rear DC Tundra door is shorter than a Tacoma rear door. The Tundra probably has more room to move the front seats forward when carrying backseat passengers

Green SR5 offroad double cab arrived where I am. Solid looking truck.

The factory tires suck but thats just emissions and fuel economy.

265's really weird on a modern full size lol.

Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel & axe) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. CH4x4 switch for front camera and 'anytime' rear camera. Billet front mount seat risers. Bed mounted 4 lb fire extinguisher. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires. Custom Sliders.
Especially with the fender / fender well design. I'm looking very forward to seeing someone post their new Tundra with bigger AT tires.

The video is mostly true when you compare the official specs:
    https://toyota-cms-media.s3.amazona...02/2021_Toyota_Tundra_Product_Information.pdf
    https://toyota-cms-media.s3.amazona..._Tundra_Product_Information_11_5_21_FINAL.pdf

For the double cab short bed config, the 2022 Tundra has 4.6 ft wider turning circle. That may be caused by the electric power steering rack having a shorter stroke (3.4 turns instead of 3.71).

The inside bed width is 7.7 in. narrower due to the composite bed being unable to protrude into the outer bedsides.

The rear seat and leg room in the 2022 looks so cramped in the DC version posted in the video.

Full disclosure: I’m already second on my dealer’s list for a Pro when it comes out.

Just went to Toyota’s website to check out brochure.

Was kinda bummed to read that, despite being a top-level trim that will probably cost $65k+, I won’t get a HUD, heated steering wheel, power telescoping steering wheel, and am stuck with the standard drive modes (no Sport S, S+, or Custom). Only “option” is for the trailer mirrors.

I mean I’m used to Toyota refusing to add tech/features or updates in order to make profits hand-over-fist for basic-level entries but I didn’t think they would refuse to put something in when it was already offered on other trims. But then again, they did put cloth seats and a standard injection molded steering wheel in the Pros when they first came out. So what do I know, I guess.

Yeah Toyota is really charging a lot for these trucks not being fully loaded. My dad just got a Nissan Titan Pro 4X fully loaded, heated steering wheel, rear heated seats, adaptive cruise control, Android Auto, pretty much the works. 8000 under MSRP out in Phoenix area. About 54,000 out the door. Much better value in my opinion and a true V8

Pics of the Pro from a local press release. I liked the folding mirrors, center mark on the steering wheel, tailgate button, recessed backup/plate lights, and the trick plastic trim on the tailgate.

Not clear if they're running the 37s on stock gearing, which is a very tall 3.31 ratio.

    • 7.7L engine oil capacity
    • Transfer case uses WS ATF
    • 154 ft-lb lugnut torque for steel wheels, 97 ft-lb for aluminum
    • Two interior fuseboxes, one located behind the knee bolster panel under the glovebox, the other under the rear seat storage bin
    • Requirement to idle the engine for a minute after heavy use to avoid cooking the oil in the turbo
    • Two intercooler radiators with separate reservoir from engine coolant:

Just had my first look at the new tundra. It was a platinum and it looked really good. I did not drive it because it was sold. A few things that bother me. The front seats are very small and the interior does not look that large. It look like the interior of a Tacoma in terms of size. The sales guy provided me a first hand education about the truck. For one I thought the hybrid model aided in conserving gas. He told me the hybrid only provided more power that is it. I was under the impression that the hybrid allowed the truck to run on electric power at low speed like under 20 mph. Nope. I have to really reconsider now. I wanted my next truck to run off of electricity to some degree

Still horrible, Toyota needs to dial it back quite a few notches. Seems like there is a battle among manufacturers of who can design the ugliest truck.

Does it come with a life time supply of viagra? ‘Cause it is definitely over compensating for something….
