Yep, just like when I sat in a 2016 SR5 Tacoma when the 3rd gens first showed up from my 2015 TRD Sport, was like WTF, night and day even at a lower trim.

I went from a 2010 Tacoma TRD OR to a 2018 TRD OR and noticed the stock suspension tuning was a huge improvement, with much better dive and pitch control. The body also had fewer rattles over potholes. And that wasn't even a clean-sheet redesign (you know the 2.5 gen joke).

Right, cause it isnt (lol, I do remember that sh*t show of a time here when they first showed up / dropped), but ya the whole cab, frame, etc. was funny when seatbelt mike tried to say nothing was the same, like dude that steering wheel is even the same, anywho.

The 2022 Tundra is said to be a new platform, TGNA-F. Look at how different the new RAV4 is from the prev-gen. The 2022 Tundra will probably borrow more components from other Toyota models than from the current-gen Tundra.

Oh ya forgot everything is moving to the TGNA-F, totally spaced on that, should be the first of them with it, think 4Runner is 2023 and Taco 2024 if I remember according to insider.

I'm fairly certain you can do much better than 24 MPG with a powerboost considering a regular ecoboost can get that. But that being said, rumors are much different than real world results.

They totally changed the button config on the steering wheel, therefore it counted as a whole new wheel. Haha.

You are probably correct but it’s hard to beat old reliable. They have the current gen down.

Im just quoting EPA. Its not out yet so its anyones speculation but the government body wouldnt lie, they just set an expectation.

That's true. I believe that Ford has to submit those numbers to the EPA and have testing to back it up (which is an issue they ran into with the Ranger). But, I believe initial estimates for the Powerboost were also 30+. I tend to take those with a grain of salt until the EPA has something to give.

Exactly, and not the first time Ford has claimed a certain MPG and EPA comes back with less.

Yeah, I believe it was so off with the Ranger that they re-evaluated their entire testing process.

Really hope the body is awesome, so far the leaks look uninspiring. Also keep 5.7 as option like ford does with f150 lineup

Some new renderings based on leaks so far, not too bad actually for a rendering.
