I would bet leaf springs are a thing of the past with the new Tundra !

Looks like there are some more videos, "news" etc lately, but most of them seem to be rinse repeat of existing news. But it seems like the announcements may be pushed, because the Chicago Auto show may have been cancelled... They're still calling for a Fall release though.
But all the speculation, and news coming out seems to be exciting, I for one can't wait to see what it'll look like...

I can’t wait for it to come out!!

    So excited!

    Marked my calendar!

    Stoked about it!

It’ll be a great time to find way more 2016-2017 models on the market to choose from.

(Looking for an SR5 DC (6.5’ or 8’ bed) 5.7 (Non-FFV) in anything but red if y’all are selling) :)

What are you putting on your calendar?
Also are you looking for a 16-17 ? I'll probably be selling mine in the fall.
DCLB TRD Sport, with a few aftermarket upgrades like leather, heated seats, remote start, snug top topper, and prinsu rack.

I was joking that when the new Tundra comes out more oriole will be selling their 2016-2016 Tundras so I’ll actually be able to find one near me.

Wouldn’t buy another Tacoma unless it’s a 2015 or older. Sorry, man!

16-17 was first years of larger fuel tank and last years before TSS :)

Indeed ! ...would have bought a 21 if there was a bypass kit available. Will be sad if the 22 gets rid of V8 option.

edit : but the older V8 will then skyrocket in price/value/collecter etc

Word is the new Tundra will possibly have some sort of adaptive hitch to help with hookup

    • Beefy rectangular-section axle housing
    • Road tires are Yokohama Geolandar XC-V, while the spare tire is Falcon Wildpeak.
    • Muffler and fuel tank location reversed compared to current-gen truck. Exhaust tip now comes out the left side:

Might be a fully boxed frame. That looks like a weld bead in front of the little pyramid-shaped bumpstop:

I would like toyota to offer a diesel, in both the Tacoma’s and the Tundra’s. Have had both, and like my 2019 Tundra, would of liked a diesel for hwy mileage.

Traded my 2015 Tacoma in for said Tundra for power, I asked salesman about Diesel engine in Tacoma and he said “they were gonna do it in ‘08, but obama’s regulations shut it down” don’t know how much truth is in there, but would of liked a Tacoma diesel!

    Mostly dust and dirt.
I expect to see the end of rock-solid reliability and the Tundra being no better than any “American “ truck.

Hope you're wrong, but sadly, sounds about right.

I understand your opinion, and I like your photos. BTW, I'm not a fun of electric trucks at all, especially full size.

I would like to see larger payload and towing numbers, like better than the F150 numbers, it would be nice to be able to put a Lance 650 or 825 Truck camper on it!
