    I use it every single time I back into my driveway regardless of whether I am towing a trailer or not. I just used it yesterday at the transfer station to back into the unloading dock (up a hill) with a full load in the bed.

    So 0.01% of 3rd gens.
    (but only 4wd models of course, and mainly manuals, so that is probably only 5% of 5% of 1million as a first approximation)
    so that is probably 4% of manual 4wd, 3rd gens...

    Ok, now sounds cooler, really.

    Why can’t this be as simple as the locker I had in my F150’s? Push the button and have the locker engage in any mode, 2 high, 4 high, etc...

    The 3rd Gen has a different 4wd ECU. I don't think our connector part numbers will help you.

    In all honesty, I was ready to pony up for @Up2NoGood 's module if it would have worked on the 3rd Gen.

    Oh man! I am in your shoes also. I have two teenage daughters that mow through the $$$. My mod money is either credit card rewards points that I use on Amazon or PayPal Credit 6mo free financing. I cannot wait until they move the hell out!
