Wouldn't be hard to do with a small microcontroller, but I haven't looked for someone to do a proper board design. Still, that wouldnt disable ESC or Abs.

get an OR or pro and you have a button that will activate the locker. Anytime you want, just press the button.

    Unless I'm missing something

You have to be in 4Lo to activate the locker.

That's dumb. How are you supposed to send it over a dune?

    Thanks @daveeasa

I filled out the form for a AT visor card. I got the kit a few months back, but just opened up the box today. Will order a switch and wait for cooler day to install.

Received mine a few days ago - thanks for being so damn quick!
I got it installed with minimal effort, really - removing the glove box kinda sucked lol i hate those interior trim clips in all shapes and sizes!

Here's the switch i got.... It looks to me like half of the LED's are burned out - anyone disagree?

    Qp-KfAaHIkw9xCfBICi_fPcBM6gY4KBRW3ost5vj_4d4cb5dc9daf052c02b576468271e8c6d59ba7e0.jpg

I might try and send it back and swap it for the proper ISO symbol too lol

I also want to throw this scenario out and make sure it fits the use case. I have a MT and sometimes i need to do some wiggling around at camp to get in the right spot, but i end up all over the clutch and getting things hot. Using this, i can get into 2lo and retain my steering for the most part while getting that low gearing quick engagement from the clutch?

That switch lighting looks typical for a/m switches.

Yes. That is the entire point of the 2LM. 1mph creeping at full lock if needed.

send it back and get a properly colored switch...

looks like they are sold out at the moment, but keep an eye out here:
    https://www.aironboard.com/online/products/switches/toyota-push-switches.html?color=288&limit=80&p=1

they restock about every 2-3 weeks.

    You're welcome!

    Aftermarket.

I have the AoB matching blue and it doesn't have perfect OE lighting. :notsure:

Given the location in the LSP, it is hardly noticeable.

I just went RED because I figure contrast rather than a cheesy attempt to match.

BS I didn't even think about color, and red doesn't bug me at all. :D

Besides following the instructions and having faith in the product, how can i positively identify the truck is in 2lo and not 4lo?

Turn the wheel hard to one side and try to move

No... seriously - you will know immediately. Don't try hard! If it doesn't wanna move = 4Lo. Moves super easy = 2Lo.
