CB & antenna kit ordered. I'll let you know when it all arrives for an install day. As much wiring as you've done on your truck, I'd imagine it's quick work for you at this point.

    Should be about $50

Edit: ...for some of the tail gate mounts. I know see CaliRaised was cheaper

There will likely be someone with a SWR meter in camp.
    Amen to that!

Funny how "fabricators" are paid so high in the far reaches of the country for some reason. Yet, they're paid a common and fair wage here. Where people are actually willing to work a labor job and don't think they need to command $75k+ salaries for welding.
And we won't even talk about the fact these people are probably now using jigs and machines that are paid for 100x over, yet they still want to toss that into their price reasonings.

$600 (shipped) ebay bumper, here I come!

fwiw, I was able to use the mount that firestick provides and just bolt it into the back of my bed (where it is visually metal). According to others, my cb sounds alright, and I didn't have to fabricate anything or any of that mess. Part number from Firestik is K-64A. It's like $12 or something.

I've been blessed to have been a part of 5 of the 6 years. Every year more people find their way into the threads, and online you kind of get a sense of how people are... and you get to know these people in the weeks/months before the meets. Then when the meet comes, you get to put faces with user names (and real names), and everyone is cool as hell. Especially @beertimecontinuum, that dude knows how to have a good time.
