    Sorry, I fixed it in my original post, yes 14WA, not 13WL.

    I myself have not installed these parts on my truck yet. @nudavinci64 does have this kit installed on his truck, he is testing them out currently and should be updating another thread soon on the upgrade.

    Here is what his looks like through his wheels, just a gigantic rotor stuff in there ;)

    SCS14T4RBrakes.jpg

    When I ordered my EBC brakes I did notice that the 10+ T4R and my 09 Tacoma part numbers for their pads were the same. So I assume that the pads them selves are the same size. But the rotor size is larger diameter and thicker. With front and rear plate bumpers, sliders, bed cage, and soon to come winch and RTT, you could say theres a good amount of weight added to my truck. So I was in the market for an upgrade already

    I went with a "performance" rotor, EBC "performance" pads, SS brake lines, and will flush my brake fluid during this. So surely all of these "mods" combined will yield a much better stopping power. Sorry I can't tell you anymore than that, but we are in the same boat I think. With the extra weight and larger tires, it can't hurt thats for sure

    I do have a full write I will do, with pictures and before and after videos of stopping. Just been pretty busy to do one more brake test after a few weeks of driving. Right after install I would say we saw around 10-12% decrease in stopping distance. This was using stock pads and not an upgraded compound. I will be doing that down the road.

    @nudavinci64, Do you think this 14WA bigger setup, bigger than the 13WH upgrade, will fit behind 17" Tacoma stock 5 star alloy wheel. Did it take any modification? Like grinding any parts or shimming the wheel?

    This what I want to know, too. I am due for a brake job and this would be a great way to go if it fits. I already have some Goodridge SS lines waiting. Hoping for better feel and more stopping power. Can't complain about wear on the OEMs though, going on 73k with some left.

    I'm very curious if these will fit behind the TRD SEMA wheels. As well as the Fj cruiser/4 runner trail team wheels.

    this is nice for those that need extra stopping power. How well does it work with ABS and traction control system?

    how have they held up after a year?

    Actually, can Someone that has these brakes do us a favor and take a measurement from the center of the wheel hub to the farthest spot on the calipers? And can people with the TRD Sport, SEMA, and Trail teams wheels take a measurement from the center of the backside of the wheel to the shortest point on the inside? That will tell us for sure if things will clear

    @Gaunt596

    Make sure to keep in mind, the furthest points from the hub are the corners of the caliper. Not to where it is being measured in the picture. It looks like 7.5in instead of just under 7

    Yeah. Looks like it's 7.5 or a smidge over. So, now for wheel measurements. You need to rotate those tires people!

    Been lagging on my end to get out and do the follow up test but ill try to post up here with the link to it if I remember. Goal is in the next couple weeks. Just need to find a good spot to do it. Last test was done in a different location with plenty of back road to mess around on.

    I have mine behind 17" Ray10 and there were no modifications or grinding of the sorts. Since they are for a stock 4 Runner with 17" wheels I would guess that the 17" Star alloy would fit. If anyone that has a 4 runner is running those that would easily answer your question.
