From the low point where the sensor is, it will take over a gallon to fill to the top. I havent been driving my truck very hard lately, and i've been filling it up about once a week.

I havent had any issue with this, and it normally gets pretty hot here in texas too. This year has been weird, but i wouldnt expect much to evaporate since there is a lid on the reservoir even though it isnt air tight

I have mine set off of boost alone. I am starting spray at 2lbs with full spray at 5lbs and above. I am running a 375ml/min nozzle and AFRs look good with it set like that. I thought about making the full spray come on later, but AFRs look good and i have noticed once you're at 5lbs of boost with the rotrex, you're typically putting the motor under high loads, so i have stuck with this setting for now

Yes, nylon lines and no issues running them. I guess it all comes down to personal preference, but for my application, the nylon has been sufficient. Still may upgrade later for more bling bling lol

Thanks! it didnt take any modification to the tray other than the hole you have to drill to get the wiring through it. The wiring was not difficult at all, and i hate wiring so you shouldnt have any issues. If you run into an issue when trying to wire yours up, feel free to ask questions, i dont mind helping.

    Hope this helps some!

    @BassAckwards,
Well Sir you are a Gentleman & a Scholar‼️ I think I’m going to purchase the same Snow #3 system with breaded line/s.
I really also like to Thank All The Rest Of You‼️ You all have been very helpful!
I also apologize about my feelings toward the Rotrex system and the designer. But he has a very unique way of making you feel like you are not intelligent enough or have enough skills to install his system. Hell maybe I’m not? But some of his instructions I will say are lacking. I fully admit I didn’t care for some of the mods that had to be done to install the Rotrex system. But if you are not willing to make these changes then I guess adding boost isn’t for you.
I also like to add, I myself wish there was an intercooler option on the Magnuson supercharger system for the 2TR. Hell maybe someone here can purchase a Magnuson system and figure out away to install an intercooler to it. Providing Magnuson ever get units out to their vendors…

Again thanks to ALL of you for your help!
    Randy

Adding in an intercooler is as simple as buying the intercooler itself, piping, and couplers. It's all in the routing, and is real simple on our trucks. If you're good at TIG welding, you can get even cleaner looking IC pipes.
The only limit is your fab skills and imagination lol.

While many hate them, you could go with the cartridge oil filter bracket from the foreign market engines. This will give you direct access to the bypass valve (be careful there), and offer a couple of different sized filter elements, which can easily be inspected.

It looks like his setup is a roots supercharger mounted directly on the intake so there probably isn't room for a sandwich style intercooler plate unless the whole kit gets re-engineered. The meth kit is probably his best option at this point.

    Hmmm…
See the photo, I’m sure you can figure out…
The CNC aluminum manifold in the middle bolts to the side of the 2TR. The supercharger on the left bolts to the manifold. The intake plantain bolts to the back of the supercharger. I know it’s not a good pic but I really don’t see much room in between the manifold & the blower? Sadly I’m as far away from being a welder / fabricator as you can get. Anyone else care to give it a shot. Maybe someone could CNC print up a manifold that would accept an intercooler between the block & the blower? Way above my skill level. :hattip:

Who did that build? The mattford.com sticker is a dealership near me and if they are into this sort of thing, I might need a van.

Ordering some more material in the beginning of October. Should things work out as I hope, then with the help of @BassAckwards , we should have a turbo manifold for his truck. Then 4 more to make.

    Stainless Steel?

Stupid question with the down pipe do you guys run a cat? For me I like them, can start up and back out or pull in the garage without your eyes watering.

The downpipes are all catless, which tie into the factory catted midpipe.

May cats were deteriorated, so I went with the URD power pipe and have absolutely zero regrets. The sound is nice coupled with my Magnaflow exhaust, and the turbo spools so much faster.

Your current turbo manifold does not have the provision nor use the secondary air injection, correct?

It doesn't. I'm okay with it, since I have the Hewitt bypass. Plus waiting on OVTune for support to completely remove the system itself.

The day I installed the turbo, I simply lengthened the wires for the pump, and relocated it. Every few startups I got a CEL for it, but a non-limp mode one. Then got the Hewitt and the code never came back.

Water cut flange’s? And Down Pipe?

If so Hmmm… I’m sure the same tuner for the Magnuson could tune the shock ECU.
Thinking, welding up mounts for an intercooler & drilling a hole in the the block would be the most difficult. Then just purchasing the Turbo, plumbing, injectors, waste gate & blow off. The Magnuson system keeps the stock fuel pump. I asked the vendor & the tuner about that, they BOTH said no need the stock delivers plenty. *I* don’t know about the oil feed would have to see how this is done.

Also someday emissions police are going to start looking under every vehicle for a cat. In AZ they stop opening hoods after buying way too many square body Chevy hoods.

And when the EPA gives URD a $50k fine for selling that midpipe that will be the last of them. Have a friend that manufactures “Off-road” headers for Lexus and the EPA slapped him with a $50k fine for selling exhaust parts that weren’t “Compliant”. He couldn’t even fight it! He got an immediate “Stop and desist order” from the EPA! He said a week after getting the certified letter there were guys with gold badges walking in his front door. I told him BS he said no I’m dead serious! He even got rid of his 02 simulators just like URD did. Paul’s degree in automotive electronics and that’s how he got started with exhaust systems. Don’t believe me find them on the URD website…
Sadly it’s just a matter of time.

I won't be making down pipes, unless the truck is in my garage. Too many turbo variations. My turbo choice, versus others'.

I recommend getting this type of catalytic converter.

    https://www.stainlessbros.com/Catalytic-Converter_c_84.html

That manufacturer is used across many oem markets.

I've been following this thread for a while now, some really great info in here. I recently picked up a junked 2TR to start building for boost. How do I get in line for one of these stainless manifolds? Also if HP tuners/OVTune come out with software for our ECU would that replace the need for a piggyback (I'm thinking of picking up an AEM F/IC 6)? Don't know much about the tuning aspect
