Has anyone successfully completed the anytime fog light mod on the 3rd gens yet?

From what I can tell, it's not as simple as on the previous generations. Supplying power to the relay leg no longer works; the relay leg referenced in all the DIY's now has constant power when the truck is running regardless of the cabin's fog light switch's position. Toyota must now have it to where the fog lights loose power when the high beams are engaged somewhere further down the wiring schematic.

If anyone has figured this out, please post pictures of what you did!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
If that's the case, then remove the relay and place a wire across the contact position for the lights of the relay. See what that does. DO NOT PUT A WIRE IN THE COIL POSITION.

I'll be following this one. I don't necessarily like the fact that when I turn on my hi beam lights, my fog lights cutoff. this sounds like it could possibly fix this issue?

I've looked for the mod under the Mods & Tips section but there was no reference. Hopefully someone will run across it and drop a link in here for us.

I have not done it; don't want to...but I think I figured it out. Maybe it'll help...

Basically, you need to get at the Main Body ECU and Driver Side Junction Block.
Splice together the wires from terminal (1F)27 and (M6)26, bypassing the ECU.
My thought is, the fog light control is open in the ECU whenever HU14/HU24 is grounded via the headlight dimmer switch.

My only pause for concern is the last pic; it shows voltage on those terminals when tested against body ground in the "OFF" position. There shouldn't be anything on those; it's just a switched ground.
