Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
I’m getting ready to do a cross country with our Starcraft Satellite in tow. My 2019 Sport has the factory trans cooler. I’m wondering how many have found this isn’t enough and added another in line.

Looks like your camper and mine are close in weight (mine’s at 3250, loaded for camping). I was wanting the trans temps to be a bit lower when towing so instead of installing an aux cooler I pinned my factory cooler t-stat open. This resulted in approx 18* to 20* reduction in the pan temperature, eg: from about 188 to 168 at my last reading yesterday. I guess the drawback is when you want to go back to “normal”, you have to slide back underneath and remove the pin.

I’d like to leave it pinned open for the summer but so far I don’t know what the ideal operating temp is for the 3gens and whether having the cooler online all the time would affect it adversely. I’m hoping someone will chime in with the answer.

You're right, but there is a little 3rd gen info in there.
