Hello everyone how’s it going. I recently just installed a leveling kit on to my 1998 5 lug tacoma. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001GH1PDM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title) after doing a lot of research I’ve concluded onto too many answers. Some people say I can run 31s without rubbing, some people say 28s max. I really don’t get it.
im looking for 14/15 Black steelies on offroad tires of some sort (I’m thinking toyo AT 2). What’s the safest wheel size I can fit on my leveling kit and should I run 14 or 15 rims? Also does anyone know any steelies that come with negative offset. What’s the best way to put this wheel/tire combo together?

It depends on the year. 2000 and up 5 lugs used a stiffer spring so the front end sits a little bit higher. That's why some guys have been able to use 31s with no rubbing.

As of now im stock and im running 235/75/15 falken wildpeaks (29 ish in tire) and im start to get some tread wear from the plastic fender lining. I have the daystars laying around too but wanna get spindles or v6 coils too and do both at once. This is how the truck sits stock with the 235s but like its been mentioned mine might sit different being a later year. 29 in tire is decent with stock gearing, 31s is max id push on it before re gear. I personally am gonna try to re gear before i make the jump bc i camp up north a ton and need it
