Sheet I need to start a build thread for when I pick another one to build. My current rotted out 85 sr5 is beyond my capability as far as the rust goes. I may pick up another 85 set in the next few weeks. Maybe depending on how it looks.

 

That's the problem with these older rigs in the northeast, a shame really. The motors and drivetrain go forever but the frames/bodies are lucky to make it passed 10 years in the salt belt.

A small amount of progress made today, trail gear was having a 15% off sale so I picked up some greasable bolts and shackles as well as new energy suspension bushings for the rear springs. Hopefully with the holidays coming to an end I'll have some free time to start working on this pig.

 

I order some bushings and greasable bolts from lone range offroad, they ship it in 3 different shipments. Half the bushings in one box, the crimp nuts in a second box with a few more bushings, and I'm hoping the 3rd box has the remainder of my order which isn't scheduled to arrive until 1/8, WTF LOL

 

Hopefully that was 3 boxes with different candy
