Truckee is a pretty good location for getting to all the good NorCal trails.

Oh yeah, centrally located! Was a lot of fun growing up there. But now I'm a little west of Sac.

About 12 years ago I lived on Donner Lake for a summer. I was building a 5000 sq/ft "cabin" at Martis Camp. It's an amazing area.

Bishop's great as it's not NorCal and it's not SoCal. It's also 4 hours to get to Fordyce and 4 hours to get to Johnson Valley. lol

That's freaking awesome. I worked at the state park in high school during the summer. Martis is so expensive. I bet is was really nice! I've been down through Bishop a few times. Beautiful area and can be a lot quieter.

Expensive doesn't quite do Martis justice. It's a different level of wealth to be able to live there. lol

Picking up an 87 next month from a buddy, looking forward to starting a new project.

How does it drive on the road? Gotta be a turd with the 37s and that 22re.

Thats gunna be cool. Pickup or 4runner?

It's not too bad. I can cruise 75 on the highway when it's flat. Any hill is a different story though. I also have a tow rig so I don't have to worry about long trips

I guess I need a tow rig build page now that 37s and racelines are in the garage.

went from page 2 to 4 on the build thread...

You go trail gear or marlin? for gears and adapter?

I'm trying to decide...definitely going to follow suit on the triple stick set up... so clean.

I like that little switch panel you've got under the stereo...pulled my stereo out this weekend to find a shit load or wire nuts and other nonsense from prior owner... :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:
