Checked on my truck yesterday. Everything is going well and installed minus the broken vband I was supposed to order and the broken turbo mount being welded. Hit up Amazon, 2.5 inch clamp x 2 (just in case) sent next day delivery.

Yeah, Nathans build. I'm trying to grow up into being his twinsie. I will most likely go just a hair or 2 back from jberry813 as he ended up shortening his ds. My guesstimate is if I average those 3 locations onto mine, then go 53" back, I will be golden......

Ordered an arb locker, h.o. compressor, 4.10 gears, axle bearing/seal kits for both sides, and a relentless t-100 truss......have to send in my 3rd as a core.

Still waiting to hear back on my truck at the tuner. Passenger header manifold was leaking and the tuner didn't want to proceed with the tune (understandably). So it's been fixed as best they could. Those damn cx headers are a bitch to get totally snug....he couldn't get them perfect either and had to use shims......

Yeah my rear cage mount might be in the way. So I'm going to place the hanger right behind it and measure forward and cycle the shit out of it. To see if it's going to work. Fingers crossed it works if not then I'll have to redo my cage.

Ouch, hope not. What I learned is get your leafs hung first....then axle.......cycle......cage......shocks.......

Going to pick up the ricer truck (haha). I'm stoked.....and keeping my fingers crossed. The tuner said everything is pretty much good. Idles good, good boost afr@10psi, just a little high at mid throttle. I'll post more soon!

Just the way my timing was at the time I had to do the cage first. I never installed the shock mounts on the cage. Those will be put on when I put everything else on the rear. I really don't think it's going to be an issue. Plus when I do the rear I'm going try and get it done at Insains shop. He has a lift and every tool needed. I just need to budget for it.

Great to hear! Now that it's tuned your going to have lots of fun. :jellydance:

Edit: Looking at where BlackBirtha placed his hanger. I have plenty of space.

Unless you're staying on 31s. Get a different gear ratio. Seriously. Or the turbo will have been in vain.

Ok, here are the numbers......not quite what I was expecting.....the tuner said you get lower numbers here in CO because we are 1 mile above sea level. Also he said it's a "mustang" dyno, not a dyno jet as dyno's can read differently. Said a dynojet would have read higher. On 32" mud terrains and stock 4.10 gearing it made 280hp and 316ft lbs.

    Need to zoom in.....

Yea if your going up in tire size. Get different gears. So worth it.

Yeah, thought it starts just at about 2500, but full is 3000. Would like sooner spool too. Eh, I'm still learning, and failing at things too. Such is life. Going to drive it more tomorrow to get a new feel for things. May end up going full stand alone and 700 something injectors.

I see no point to increase injector size. 550 would be the max.

An EBC would cut spool time down by 1-500rpms too.

Yeah, got the ebc. I might ramp up the gain and keep the wg closed longer.

Broken turbo mount......broken vband, both fixed.

440's right now. May eventually go to 550-750 if I upgrade to a standalone ecu......

Do you really need to go that big? I saw the stock are like 240cc and people say they will handle like 4-5 psi, so wouldn't like 380cc be enough for 8 psi?

And where did you get them from?

From ebay.....about $200. Remanufactured, cleaned, new seals, etc. Not sure ^^^^, my tuner said I could go up to 720s with a standalone and 15psi. I didn't want too go to big and have a rough idle. These 440 idle fine but do take a little more cranking to start up.
