adjusting the 5100

    I was told that the Bilstein 5100 only have two adjustments for the one that fit a 2002 trd .85 and 2 1/2 " in this case. I would like to raise the front 1" and keep the rear the same. I was told use 5025 in the rear for no lift. and 5100 n the front with my stock springs set at .85 should be very close to level. any input whould be great.

    No. They have three. 0" (stock), 1.25" and 2.5"

    If I set the adjustment at 1.25 in the front and put the 5125 in the rear is the truck going to be level ?

    That depends on how much rake your truck has. Many folks find leveling requires setting the 5100s to 2.5". Mine, for example, had 2" of rake when I started. Had I not replaced my coils when I installed the 5100s, the 1.25" setting would have been insufficient to level the truck. (Keep in mind the 5125s in the rear are not designed to provide lift.)

    Thanks, I was told that the 5025 are the replacements for the stock height. so I should get just the 5100 for the rear ?

    I'm not familiar with a 5025 model. If you're truck is stock height, I believe 5125s are the recommended (rear) solution. OTOH, rear 5100s are designed for trucks with a modest (up to ~3") lift. Front 5100s are designed to provide a modest/leveling lift.

    I recommend contacting the folks at DownSouth Motosports. They can answer your questions and get you the best deal on the "right" set of Bilsteins for your truck. I also suggest spending some time in the Suspension forum, where you'll probably find answers to many of your questions.
