I am waiting for my 09 DC Shortbed 6speed TRD Sport to be built. According to the dealer it's supposed to be completed on the 2nd of July.

Through many posts I have noticed people with the same trucks are having issues with their TSB. I'd like to call the dealer and speak with them about this issue so I can possibly avoid this problem. However, I can barely spell TSB let alone explain to him exactly what the problems are and what exactly a TSB is.

Any info would be great. I don't want the dealer thinking I'm a complete idiot and sluff me off. Again, your assistance would be most appreciated.

    Thanks

Canadian trucks come with better leaf springs than the US ones. You don't need to worry about the TSB.

Really, that's a relief but sounds odd at the same time. Wonder why they are different, seeing as most of them come from the same place.

    Thanks

Mine is the 3 leaf, not 4. There's some issues regarding stereos, some other minor things - I haven't had a single problem. Most people don't.

Congrats on the truck, get it, see if theres an issue and get it worked out. Were all under warranty!

    Too few to list.
The only problem I've had with mine is the JBL amp tsb. The rear spring tsb isn't really a problem but I got it done anyway. No clutch problem as of yet. So far so good.

what does the "chatter sound like...i think i may have this issue

I've noticed a burning smell once before and thought it was my friends camery that has 120K on it. also notice some shaking noises when going over bumps in Neutral.

what does clutch chatter sound like?

This is starting to scare me. I just spent 25K on a truck, I hope that this is covered under warrenty????

My radio also shuts off every once in a while.

My radio problems involve the Head Unit randomly shutting itself off, Poor FM/AM reception (I haven't tried XM), volume randomly changes, and the backlight randomly turning on and off. Crazy...I know. I have heard of several people having this problem, but of course it was a shocker to my dealership.

My replacement is currently on order. :)

My radio has been doing some funky things lately at less than 8,000 Km.
I'm going to make a appointment with the dealer and get it checked out.

    1) Volume control stops working.
    2) Radio shuts off by itself.
    3) Radio turns on by itself.
    4) Radio won't turn on.
    5) Radio won't turn off.

:) Sounds like a bad radio to me.
