Its ok John. Apparently I am a loser that wastes money on a POS truck. This is what a co-worker says about me, while he DJ's in nightclubs and blows down every other night, is late for work once a week and comes in still drunk and half-asleep. Yea maybe I should find a better hobby

Anway.... More progress today on my POS that I waste money on

Got HP front installed. Unfortunately it did not drop right in, I had to spend 5 min. with a grinder to clearance the housing. I elongated the top and bottom notches for the ring gear to slide in, and I had to clearance 4 spots on the sides to clear the bearing cases.

Set in place and finger-tightened, waiting for the RTV to start setting up.


Got the spooled 3rd swapped with the Spartan locked 3rd.


I got the driveshafts out and removed the driveline e-brake, so the t-case is almost ready to come out.

 

Big fatass ring gears are always nice to see.

I want to go ahead and work on the frame, and get it painted before I do much else.

That sounds good mang. Right now Saturday should be nice, there are supposed to be showers on Sunday but of course that can change. I will keep checking the forecast this week.

No sir. The spooled 3rd will be kept for a spare. I now have a Yukon Zip locker up front, and the Spartan locker out back

 

Gotcha. Selectable up front should make life easy.
