You mean square tube? No I'm just going to have my current front shaft extended. I picked up 2 CV shafts to have rebuilt but one is a '86 front IFS shaft that needs to be clearanced for more angle. I will have that one built later on so I have a spare.

The horn works :D. And I replaced the stocker with a Hella supertone if nobody had noticed yet.

When your horn didn't work did it cause your turn signals to malfunction also?

Oliver's Driveshaft in Winston-Salem. I'm going to ship them to them Monday, put the cases in Wednesday and get the measurements. I'm not going to put the cases in that weekend like I told you, I need to do it sooner.

Switches are in, wires are run for fogs, driving lights and reverse lights, and the fuse block is mounted. Just need to hook up the wires, tie them up and mount the lights.

    Andy,

did you run an AAL or sway bar on your 4runner? We put the rear shocks on ours today and it still has a ton of body roll going down the road, is yours the same way or does the soft top cut a lot of that out?

Just TG 4" springs and Bilsteins in the stock locations. It rolls pretty good around corners especially with weight in it but having the softopper helps.

We have TG 4" and bilstein shocks. Has a lot of roll, probably just something that takes getting use to

I am sure it has a lot to do with the hard top but mine rolls too. I got used to it. It really leans over on side hills so I want to eventually to take a leaf out all around and drop it to make me more comfortable. In fact I may do that next weekend if I have time.

I replaced the starter in this thing today.

It felt good to see my Dad smile when it cranked up.

I am about to go finish the wiring in this beast now.

I slapped some fresh paint on the grill but I fucked up the Toyota letters, I will fix them soon. Oh and one of my HID bulbs is bad :(, waiting on a replacement.

I did not have many options for mounting the backup lights, so I settled on these sweet mounts I found at Home Depot . I need to paint the mounts black so they blend and nobody tries to steal such baller hardware.

Thanks dude! I can't wait to drive it now! I am shipping the driveshafts off tomorrow, and getting the dual cases ready to go in just as soon as the 2nd piece gets here on Tuesday.

re sub.looking good. I really want to get a old 4 runner and mod the hell out of it and just make it a weekend toy. either drive it down the road with no top, or on the trails.

Thanks. It is a lot of fun, especially all the looks I get around town. This is the most work I have ever done on a vehicle and I have learned a lot with it.

Yeah i bet a lot of people stair at it. It helps a lot if you can do the work your self.

I know if i had one i would have the best top top on in spring summer, because i would have the top off every day that it was nice. and i would have tube doors.

Buddy had a jk i think(it was a ’97 wrangler) for a little bit last summer it was fun rolling around with no doors and the top off.
