Unfortunately Sky sent me 2 right side frame tube jigs. Luckily I'm not in a rush to start on this.

Have you thought about linking it when you swap everything over?

Would you use a y-link or would you relocate the gas tank? Did you have any luck trying to put your CB in the ash tray slot?

I mainly want to link the front, 3 link with panhard. Not sure what I would do out back, I have never really looked at other setups in detail. I do want to relocate the gas tank regardless. Been thinking about doing the ford tank in the spare tire location.

Makes sense. That would be a nice little setup for sure. In a perfect world I would move mine to the back as well but we'll see if I get to that point.

I'm thinking about just running a single 4.7 t-case instead of duals.

A single 4.7 case is a great improvement over stock. You can always add a crawl box down the road.

I'll be at URE on the 14th if you care to join.

What I'm thinking is just getting it to a place where I can wheel it for a while and then overhaul it.

I would love to but I am going out of town that day. I still need to hook up that new alternator, winch, and install some lights I've had sitting around for almost a year.

I also need to replace a torn bushing up front on the rear driver side shackle. As well as have my exhaust shield re-wielded. Its been banging around for a while and it doesn't sound that great when it rubs the drive shaft.

On another note I picked up some used KM2's the other day so I'm stoked about that. The brake steer is not as bad as it was now.

The guy who wielded my sliders didn't listen to me when I gave him the right measurements so now they're too far forward and I rub the hell out of them. My winch is too close to the bolt holes for the fairlead so I'm probably going to have some studs wielded in so I can bolt the fairlead up. I should also do something about my firewall before I pop a tire. Those 32"s I had tore them to shit believe it or not. Probably gonna tub that.

Do you have any runs planned in January?

    Damn son, get to work.

I had the same problem with my winch fairlead. Flip the bolts around.

I haven't made any plans for wheeling past next weekend. I could have the hoerunner in pieces next month.

I know I need to but I just don't have time. I am hoping to get a bunch of work done over break.

There isn't enough room for the bolt head to sit between the bumper and winch. I could grind the bolt heads down but for what its worth it might just be easier to has some tac'd in.

In pieces you say? If you start selling shit I've got dibs. LET IT BE KNOWN VULTURES.

Seriously, if you get rid of you TG kit for a new suspension I'll take it off your hands.

Oh that's right, the bolt heads are too big. I found some bolts laying around with a smaller head, and barely fit.

I'm swapping ALL of my parts over, only shit I'll have for sell is the '85 carcass and stock parts.

    I reckon at 9 am

I can't remember where the bolts I used came from. I found them in my misc. box. They were the same size but the head was smaller, just barely fit between the winch and fair lead plate.

I'm debating keeping the '85's doors and making half doors, but I'll let you call dibs if I don't.

I'll keep looking for options. Sounds good man I'm gonna use them to make a set if you don't.

Have you thought about if you are going to do an internal cage or an exo? Would your soft top still work if you used an internal cage?

Internal. I want to get a 4xinno cage early next year. They have two sizes, the Softopper will work fine with an interal cage.

let me know how that sky kit goes. I just got a high pinion elocker that I need to regear to 4:88's. I also picked up the wide axle kit from sky. Thinking about pulling the trigger on sky's full kit for my sas, just wanting to know what you think about the quality?

Will do, Toyota Man. Aside from not getting the correct frame tube jigs, it looks to be a good quality kit. I like that their stuff is made in USA.

Saweettttt!!!! I was hoping you said the stuff looks quality. I like the fact they also are made in the USA, they are only about an hour down the road from me so easy to get stuff as well.

    Keep up the good work!!
