Got ya. I was referring to getting another one like Blue Sea. Figured it would be useful to have for the winch and lights.

I know those are sweet! I looked over JAndrews write-up and it looks like a great product. But for ~ $50 the Blue Sea will work fine for what I need. I'm really considering not touching the suspension for a while, maybe getting some longer shocks and cutting the shit out of the wheel wells. I wanna stay as low as possible for various reasons.

one big difference between the sPod and blue seas is that the sPod comes with relays already configured in. blue seas, not so much

Exactly which makes the sPod ideal. You have one as well right? I just don't know if I can't justify the price difference. I can get OBA and a Blue Sea for close to the same price as an sPod, or am I way off?

yeah u could, but start adding wires and relays its gonna get up there alittle bit. still probably not as expensive but alot more time consuming.

i have one. had to move it from its intended location tho since it was in the way of the supercharger intercooler resivor

I do hate wiring. I've been avoiding it. But I would really like to hook my winch up.

What type of sPod would you recommend seeing as the Toyota ones are for FJs and Tacomas.

Either one should work. Just gotta use the braket and mount it wherever u want it. Mines not in the place it's suppose to be. Modified the bracket and used sheet metal screws to mount it

Alright thanks. I would really like some help hooking this all up because my electrical skills are zero. I know you're not in the area but if anyone would volunteer their help I can pay in food and beer :D

Well like Andy I am doing the GM alternator swap and that's what I'm more concerned with. I've never done anything like it before. What date is the URE meet? That will get me motivated.

Well the pickup changed in '89, the 4runner in '90. I don't want a snorkel anyway, would be money well spent elsewhere. Glad you're looking out though

It's a great locker so far, hasn't let me down yet. I liked that it was cheaper than the ARB.
