I can get a good deal on those new G2 30 spline birfs but I haven't heard anything about them. The guy up the street at 4 wheel parts has a 1st gen runner so we get along pretty good, he hooks it up.

 

I had a great time at URE yesterday. I went every where I wanted to no problem with the gears and lockers. The KM2's were great. I didn't really get any pictures but hopefully I can steal some from others.

 

How much longer you think?

So I think my next mods will be dual cases......... and cup holders. I have 13 cup holders in the Taco, and 0 in the horunner Oh my how times have changed.

 

Was awesome watching this thing gobble trail like it was nothing. Happily watching where you go with it next

 

Yea man it was too easy but I didn't try anything really hard. Still trying to get a feel of how it handles. I need to beef up the front axle some more with a full diff guard and knuckle gussets as well.

Planning the next step. Going to be ordering a dual case setup from Marlin. 2.28 21 spline crawl box and 4.7 23 spline rear case.

I believe I will mount it with a Budbuilt 1" lift crossmember to gain a little clearance. I will probably also throw in some 4xinnovations engine and tcase mounts.

















This weekend I may take the throttle body off and give it a good cleaning and see if I can't stop this occasional idle surging.

 

Dont spray the cleaner directly into the tb, spray it on a toothbrush or whatever you're cleaning it with then wipe it out. spraying it directly in can cause a weird idle

 

Thanks for the tip. I cleaned it while it was on the truck a while back. I sprayed it directly in the throttle body and then scrubbed it with an old tooth brush. Then it sat for 3 weeks and ran fine when I cranked it up. Edit: I didn't douse it, just sprayed and scrubbed a little bit at a time and wiped it clean.

But yea I need to take it off and clean it really well and grease the throttle linkage so it will stop sticking slightly open.
