Just got the bumper last night and I know I have to get different fog lights but im curious is there any way I can wire them to my original fog lights wire so I can run with just fog lights? Also I have hids and I was curious if there is any way I can use the fog light hids in another fog light? I would like to keep my hids.

some folks have modded to fit the stock fogs very easily. there are threads out there. if the draw is similar to stock, you can wire them to the stock harness and use the stock wiring, circuit, etc. if there is too much draw from the new ones, you may blow fuses, kill relays, burn wires, etc.

I used the PIAA's that AP recommended and they mount directly to the bumper's fog light mounts but you will need to use the supplied PIAA harness (included with the lights). Like jhodge83 said though, some folks have fabbed up some simple mounts so they can use their factory fogs.

i hacked off the ends of the stock harness and wired up my PIAA 510s to those and utilized the stock everything else.

But you still had to use the relay though, right? I tried the same with my 510's without the relay that came with them and popped the fuse instantly.

Alright thank you. Do the original fog lights fit just like the PIAA or do the PIAA fit inside the bumper and the original fit towards the rear

Seabass, switch your wires. IIRC, white doesn't go to white and black doesn't go to black if you are using the original fog light wires and splicing in the 510's. When I installed mine, it kept popping the fuse. I switched the wires W->B and vice-versa and haven't had a problem since.
