    I had heated mirrors on my IS300. It was something I rarely got to use but when I got the chance it was awesome. Solid ice slipped off in like 2 minutes.

    Good morning. I've done the mod listed in the cheap/free mods section of this site, I used a snowmobile/motorbike grip heater pads I got at a local motorcycle shop for about $30. Pretty straight forward, takes a bit of time and some patience, its really not that hard though it works great! I use it almost daily now until march.

    You can use any good quality exterior silicone to glue the pads in place, I think in the tutorial it says to use special glue, I asked at a glass shop and because our mirrors are mirrored both sides, silicon won't eat the mirror! I used silicone and my mirrors are fine after 1 year.
