    my father in law is big on kayaks. he's on norcal kayaks. he helps me do a lot of my mods, and his kayaks are pretty heavily modded as well

    Haha I didn't even realize. I've always wanted a kayak but between school and work I don't think I'd ever get to make use out of it enough to warrant the purchase.

    For anyone that wants to get into whitewater kayaking Current Adventures and California Canoe and Kayak have some pretty awesome lesson packages. I'm not affiliated with either one, but both have a great group of instructors.
