Yeah just stay away from the static tint and the kind that you cut to fit.

They dont fit!!!!!!! Went to the local tint shop (friend of mine w/ 24 yrs experience tinting) and tried to install them. Due to that middle buldge in the tail laight, these pre cut sheets will not work.

Just sent the ebay guy (half_off) a message for a refund. Will wait to see what happens.

I have something similar on my tails. I’ve used it on previous cars too; it’s a 3M product. I had a local tint shop do it for me. he guys who installed them said it was a PIA to deal with the middle bulge and get the tint to wrap and lay flat on the edges. They got it to work and it turned out great. I love knowing I can take them off if i need to, the police around here are always looking for a excuse to pull people over. If you find a tint shop that installs clear bra for cars they will have access to order you some tint material and know how to install it properly as well.

You can always remove your tailights, wrap them in pantyhose, and tada. Tinted taillights. Just dont get to close with a pressure washer they may rip

I have done it before on some previous cars... (sorry no pics anymore..) I may do this on my taco one day...

Do a search there were numerous people who tell how they did it.

    Mine in short I did...

    1. SOS pad the lights after a wash and make sure there is not any debris. (you can also sand them down so there is no DOT marks etc. obviously not with the SOS pad)

    2. wipe down with a clean rag (I used a bit of rubbing alcohol) and made sure it was dry.

3 Mask off any areas you don't want tinted (reverse sections)
I also masked off the area on the back where the bulb goes so no EXTRA light is in the housing.. gives you a better idea how dark it will be when you install them.

4 apply light coats until you get the darkness you want. 2-3 is usually plenty!!

5 I used a high grit paper and wet sanding them...

6 sprayed clear coat on them just a few coats to protect them and make them SHINE!!

7 wet sand again and admire your work!!
