Just installed this a few weeks ago, works great. I already had an old button lying around so just needed the harness myself

Actual update: took the whole dash apart just to find out that the bolt holding the ground terminal came loose. Turning a bolt is easy, putting this crap back together isn’t

Without digging through 87 pages…I just wanted to ask about a bizarre issue in having. I picked up my truck from the body shop after replacing my damaged tailgate and bed. Now the front camera is mirrored 180 degrees..

I’ve had the camera for close to a year and it’s been working fine since. I got it cleanly installed, oriented correctly and have enjoyed it on the trail.

Very confusing. I have the standard front camera and had already cut the green wire to show correctly. I taped up all the wires with electrical tape.

Without disassembling the entire cluster of wires, anyone have any idea about what they messed with in the tailgate/backup camera that could be causing the front camera to show upside down?

    Camera physically mounted upside down?
Repair shop thought green wire was cut in accident?

What colored wires do you have? Check your green and/or purple wire. White is for lines. If you don't have purple then it'll be what ever color thats not green or white. If that doesn't work try contacting the company and see if you can get a replacement.

It's the weirdest thing. For some reason as they were repairing the driver door, bed and tailgate, they pulled apart the front camera bundle I had cable-tied under the hood and lazily spliced the cut wires together.

I do have a premium camera apparently. But I just pulled the wires apart, re-taped everything and it's good as new.

Why would they go through the hassle of un-taping that bundle, "repairing" the cut wires, re-taping and putting back if they were repairing the driver door and rear end?

That is VERY sloppy work. At the very least they should have used butt connectors on the wires but ideally they should be soldered together and shrink tubed to seal them.

It's such a tiny little light, you'll regret not seeing it at night. Especially if your trying to find it in a pinch.

If you think it is too bright then install a 1k ohm resistor on the + for the light. This should cut the brightness enough.

Took the anytime backup cam mod out of my totalled 2017 sr5 and just tried to install it on my 2023 trd offroad with the jbl unit. It’s late, and I might be very tired, but it doesnt look like it can plug into it.

I believe the wire harness for the radio changed in 2019.

Seems like the site is down. Is this not a thing anymore? Edit* - nvm. Looks like this has been down for a while. Guess i'll look elsewhere. $50 anytime rear sounded like a better go than $200 for other ones i'm seeing online.

That would be cool if there was a simple harness solution for the 2020+ OEM Front and rear Cameras to be anytime.

But without the v shaded area in the middle of the front camera.

does this work on a 2022 premium with the stock front camera? I'd like to use this while I have my canopy on so I can still see behind me.

I have a wiring harness for this system and the buttons if anyone wants it. No camera included because it stopped working. No charge. Just cover shipping

been having some intermittent problems with front and rear cams lately - sometimes the image is dim, sometimes completely black, and the front camera has some sort of noise on it. usually, whatever the issue is, it will clear up after i switch between front and rear cameras or just wait a few seconds... but you want the cameras to work immediately, every time especially in reverse.

    any ideas how to troubleshoot?

    Center console organizer.
I’d start verifying all your connections… starting from the front camera to the head unit.
