Found this list of parts for the 4runner DIY front brake upgrade:

    NAPA Eclipse calipers
    (WH cast) - L caliper (part#SE3318) R caliper (SE3317) $78.30 EA + $50 EA core

    Rotors (13.30 inch dia) from 2003-2009 Lexus GX470 and select 2003-2009 4runner)
Part # 43512-60151 $57.20 EA (purchased on Ebay from Toyota Tampa Bay)

OE Pads & Shims (purchased online from ToyotaPartsDeal.com)
    Pads (part#04465-35290) $62.13
    Shim kit (part #04945-35120) $41.14

    Toyota 4-runner Dust Covers (ToyotaPartsDeal.com)
    part#s 47781-60120 & 47782-60120 $62.16 EA

Is this still a recommended upgrade or is there something better out there for similar money?

    Thanks!

No one? From what I have read, this gives some benefit due to the larger rotor diameter, but since the piston bores are the same, allows the use of the tacoma master and booster?

Or is the 14WA (5th gen 4runner)/Tundra booster/master what everyone is going to?

OK, I'll bump it one more time then will stop asking... 27 replies to the synthetic oil question, but no feedback here?

Did this once already and doing it again on my 3rd gen, it made a big difference.

I Thanks, Il look further into this. Im running SEMA T4R 17" rims, I read that upgrading beyond the 13WH caliper setup needs possibly spacers and possibly a Master cylinder upgrade
